CSIRO’s GISERA launches new website

April 1st, 2022

We have been working on a new-look website for CSIRO’s GISERA and it’s now live.

We undertook pre-design and pre-launch user testing with external stakeholders to gather intel on what worked and what didn’t – this feedback has been incorporated into the new website look and feel, all to improve the end-user experience. Our new website design also aligns with CSIRO’s recently refreshed visual identity.

Our research content and resource materials remain but with extra information, improved accessibility, easier navigation and greater search functionality. Browse our research focus areas, learn more about us, access resources, read our news, and if you aren’t already a subscriber, sign up to our e-newsletter today.

GasFields Commission Queensland website refresh

In other news, the GasFields Commission Queensland has also launched a new website. The Commission spent 12 months redeveloping their website (https://www.gfcq.org.au) to improve functionality, responsiveness, ease of navigation, and to ensure it is populated with all the latest onshore gas industry related news and content. The new site offers users the ability to:

  • connect directly with the Commission’s staff online (via a ‘Live Chat’ function);
  • investigate gas industry activities in their local area (see the ‘GFCQ Interactive Gas Map’);
  • find answers to the most frequently asked questions relating to Queensland’s onshore gas industry (see ‘FAQs’); and
  • access all the information landholders need to negotiate a fair and reasonable outcome should a resource company request to operate on their land (see ‘The Gas Guide’).

The Commission encourages all feedback regarding the site’s content, layout and useability to be provided via the ‘Live Chat’ function.
