Community webcast – 10 years of GISERA research
CSIRO’s Gas Industry Social and Environmental Research Alliance hosted a community webcast recently to highlight research on potential impacts of onshore gas, conducted over the past 10 years.
CSIRO scientists Dr Neil Huth and Dr Gavin Rees delivered short presentations summarising key points of their research.
Neil described his team’s work to predict surface water flow using data visualisation techniques and augmented reality, and Gavin spoke about the discovery of new stygofauna species in the Beetaloo Sub-basin in the Northern Territory.
